Dr. David Galán-Madruga is a National Center for Environment Health Researcher from Carlos III Health Institute. He is responsible for the Environmental Health research group. In 2004, he received the Ph.D. degree from Madrid Complutense University. He has a Master of Engineering (Computer Engineering). He is an expert in instrumental techniques for characterizing materials from the Department of Analytical Chemistry at the Chemistry Sciences Faculty, Madrid Complutense University (where he acts as an honorary collaborator). He has a professional career of 25 years in scientific investigation (which is reflected in numerous published research in high impact factor Journals, as well as multiple scientific character reports) and management field (acting as a regular member in Scientific and Organizing Committees for international congress, seminars, or webinar, 39 in the last 5 years). He is a principal investigator in various investigation projects, scientific-technical adviser, Thesis, and Master director. He is the Editor of the Annals of Civil and Environmental Engineering, ISSN: 2574-0350, and the Journal of Biomedical Research & Environmental Sciences, ISSN: 2766-2276, as well as a member of the Editorial Board of the Annals of Community Medicine and Primary Health Care.

Prof. A. W. Jayawardena, currently an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Hong Kong, has over four decades of experience in academia, consulting engineers, international organizations, and government. He has been a Professor at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS), Japan, a Guest /Visiting Professor at Beijing Normal, Hohai and Tsinghua Universities, China, an Honorary Professor in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Sciences of the University of Hong Kong, an Adjunct Professor of Vellore Institute of Technology, India and a Visiting Professor at Chu Hai College of Higher Education, Hong Kong. He is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, a Life Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, and a Fellow of the UK Institution of Civil Engineers. His awards include a Visiting International Fellowship of the Environmental and Water Resources Institute (EWRI), American Society of Civil Engineers; International Award, Japan Society of Hydrology and Water Resources, and an invitational Fellowship, Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) and UNESCO-IHP Asia Pacific Award. He has authored the books ‘Environmental and Hydrological Systems Modelling’, ‘Fluid Mechanics, Hydraulics, Hydrology and Water Resources for Civil Engineers’, Water for Life: Drinking Water, Health, Food, Energy Nexus and, authored/co-authored over 200 publications.

Dr. Li Qing, born in May 1969, Han nationality, professor, postgraduate education, received a bachelor's degree in science in 1992, a master's degree in applied mathematics from Xinjiang University in 2007, and a doctoral candidate in agricultural and forestry economics and management at Huazhong Agricultural University. Member of the Academic Committee of Tarim University, leader of the discipline of forestry economics and management, director of the Chinese Society of Forestry Economics, executive director of the Corps Statistics Bureau, and director of the Xinjiang Probability and Statistics Society. Currently, he teaches courses such as "Econometrics" (Intermediate), "Special Topics in Natural Resource Management and Environmental Governance", "Special Topics in the Protection and Utilization of Agricultural Resources in Arid Areas", "Economics of Horticulture Industry", "Literature Retrieval and Scientific Paper Writing", and "Economic Research Methods". He has published more than 50 papers, including 30 papers in CSSCI source journals such as "Agricultural Technology and Economics", "Resource Science", "Economic Geography", "Arid Area Resources and Environment", "Northern Horticulture", "Forestry Economy", "Forestry Economic Issues" and other Peking University core journals, 2 papers included in EI, 2 monographs and 2 textbooks. Prof. Murray Moinester received his Ph.D. from the University of Rochester in 1968, and then joined the faculty at Tel Aviv University. He served as a guest professor for extended periods at many leading universities and accelerator laboratories, has extensive experience in experimental and computational methods, carried out many research programs in high energy particle and nuclear physics, published some 200 scientific papers in refereed journals, and made some 75 conference or university presentations. Since his official retirement in 2003, he continues researching in the fields of Hadron Physics (pion polarizability, etc.), Archaeology (Multispectral imaging & RHX dating), environmental radioactivity, & soil science (carbon sequestration).

Dr. Sony Baral holds a Ph.D. in Green Economy focusing in the value of sustainable management of forest resources in the realization of the green economy from an ecological and economic perspective; and Masters in Mountain Forestry from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Austria. At present, she is affiliated with the School of Forestry and Natural Resource Management, Institute of Forestry, Tribhuvan University, Kritipur, Nepal. She works as an independent researcher and has been leading several research projects being engaging in various aspects of forest management, wetland management, disaster risk reduction, urban and city planning, and climate change-related issues. She has extensive research and development experience in Nepal and beyond. She has been working closely with the Government of Nepal to formulate and revise the forest, climate change, and hazard assessment related policy, strategy, guidelines and acts. She has broadened her areas on policy formulation and revision, change management, social and biophysical research, large dataset management, strategic planning, impact assessment, economic assessment, program and project designs. She has published more than two dozen articles in peer-reviewed national and international scientific journals; along with several technical reports. In addition, she is an editor and reviewer of several international journals like Forests, The Forestry Policy and Economics, Forestry Journal. She has almost two decades of working experience in forestry and forest policies in national (government and non-government) and international organizations like Tribhuvan University, ANSAB, IUCN, UNDP, CECI, and UN Women, etc. She has led various projects like Nature Conservation National Strategic Framework for Sustainable Development (2015-2030), Forest and Farm Facility Programme funded by FAO-Rome, Climate Change Vulnerability Assessment Project funded by ADB, Policy and Institutional Framework funded by BIOFIN/ UNDP,and several assignments and consulting work. Sony is also the founding member of ‘The Resource Nepal’ a non-governmental organization, advisor of Relief Nepal, board member of ANSAB Nepal, and general member of SIAS. She is the Non-Residential (NRN) Nepali Women n Coordinator and Secretary of NRN -Austria. She was also a former member of the City Planning Commission, Pokhara Municipality. She represents Nepal as a focal person on Regional Circular Ecological Sphere (R-CES) collaboration, Japan.
